This is not a trial class or drop-in.
It’s a guided start designed for adults.

You’ll be introduced to:
Fundamental Brazilian Jiu Jitsu positions (guard, mount, side control, etc.)
How to move safely on the mat
How to train with partners respectfully
Breathing and staying calm under pressure
How jiu jitsu actually works — without overwhelm
The goal is confidence, competence, and safety, not memorizing random techniques.
Many jiu jitsu gyms throw beginners into class and leva them to figure things out on their own.
We don’t.
Adult Jiu Jitsu Foundations exists to:
Reduce intimidation
Improve safety
Build confidence before open training
Help adults feel comfortable from day one
You’ll know what to do, why you’re doing it, and how to progress.

Most people who attend the clinic go on to join the 6-week Adult Jiu Jitsu Foundations course.
At the end of Adult Jiu Jitsu Foundations:
You'll have the fundamental positions down
You’ll understand how to train safely
You’ll feel comfortable in class and know etiquette
You’ll receive a clear recommendation for continuing training
Most students transition directly into regular adult jiu jitsu classes with confidence and a good base.
